I thank you for this wonderful site where I can go back to the beautiful Haiti that I knew. I graduated Philo 1980-1981 at Centre D'Etudes Secondaires (CES). Anyone with class pictures, please contact me. I know our classmate Pierrot Basquiat took a lot of pictures of this class. You can contact me at ephilippeamg@aol.com. I consider pikliz as the best haitian's flavor in term of appetizer;all Haitian who really knows what the island means 4 them should know the pikliz's taste. To have joy is to party, to party is to have pikliz, a party without pikliz is not a party. There is only one country around the world that can produce "pikliz"....its name is Haiti.Whenever I taste pikliz, I feel like going back 2 the pikliz island. All the souvenirs poppop in my brain. can I find antivirus to prevent my brain from thinking about this Island? No, everywhre i go I was told that people who nostalgically suffer from homesickness for Haiti cannot be treated.I can assume that I'm not the only one......My sweet Haitian people-stand up we can do better than 1804.......

Hello, I love the pictures and thank you for taking me back to my homeland. A place I barely know because I left haiti at an early age. However, my heart is with the homeland.

Thank you kindly!!

I love this site. I was introduced to it yesterday by my sister Magda. Congratulations to those who started it! It was such pleasure to see the photos of COLLEGE ROGER A. ANGLADE. That was my school from 1971 to 1975 (6eme a 3eme). Anyone with more photos? Please post them! I saw my cousin pic that I have not seen for over 30 years. You are looking good Dr. Dole!

Lastly, I would like to congratulate and say thank you to the person (s) who created Pikliz.com this wonderful website dedicated to Haiti news and for all Haitians to mingle and find each other. Kudos to you guys and gals who came up with this idea. Thousand thanks and GOD bless you all.
